┌── ABOUT TRANSFER STATS
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
This Ppe will read your download.txt file and create a bulletin showing the
last file transfers on your system. (Uploads and downloads)
You can specify how many transfers to show, any amount from 10 to 100.
DO NOT exceed 100.
┌── INSTALLATION
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
You have a number of choices on how you want to run this one <g>.
You can have the program just update the bulletin or you can update the
bulletin and then show it to your callers.
If you want to just update the bulletin and then have your callers view it
in your bulletin section or another area of your system, I recommend placing
this ppe somewhere in your login procedure or an area of the system that each
caller is required to passthru on each call so it will run the ppe and update
the bulletin.
Place the line !DRIVE:\PATHTOPPE\TRANSFER.PPE in your login screen. Or, any
were on your system where a ppe can be run automatically and each caller is
required to passthru so, the bulletin can be updated on every call.
If you want to let the ppe update the bulletin and then show it to your callers
just add the line !DRIVE:\PATHTOPPE\TRANSFER.PPE in your CMD.LST and add it to
your main menu screen.
Since this ppe is fast, it will not disrupt the login procedure, updating
takes about two seconds on my board, and my download.txt is well over a meg.
┌── TRANSFER.CFG FILE
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
This program is totally configurable. All the settings can be changed inside
the TRANSFER.CFG file. A complete explanation and description for each line
is given inside the TRANSFER.CFG file.
┌── REGISTRATION
└──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
There is none! Its a FREEBIE! All I ask is that you call Equinox Software's
BBS at 312-254-3413 and obtain a registered version of this program which is
located in file area #2.
I like to keep track of just how many sysops are using the program and then
determine whether or not to expand on it.
